What documents do I need? Countries have different travel documents requirements for entry.
Some only require Proof of citizenship/Birth Certificate while others
require both a passport and a visa**. The table below will help you quickly

**According to the latest update of the Western Hemisphere Travel
Initiative issued by the U.S. Department of State (http://www.travel.state.gov/travel/cbpmc/cbpmc_2223.html),
beginning January 23, 2007, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States
and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda will be required to present a valid
passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document, or an Alient Registration Card, Form I-551,
if applicable.
Passport strongly recommended (required for air travel), Proof of citizenship/Birth Certificate (30 days) Tourist Card. Visa if not arriving by commercial airline or ship.
Passport (30 days) = Allows the traveler to stay
in country for a maximum of 30 days.
Passport (60 days) = Allows the traveler to stay in country
for a maximum of 60 days.
Passport (90 days) = Allows the traveler to stay in country
for a maximum of 90 days.
